As part of the agreement, NANO Nuclear will develop deconversion and fuel fabrication facilities to integrate LIST’s enriched UF6 into a comprehensive fuel manufacturing process. This integrated approach will supply fuel for NANO Nuclear’s microreactor systems, including 'ZEUS' and 'ODIN', and the broader nuclear energy industry. LIST is expected to provide enriched UF6 to NANO Nuclear at no cost, with a future profit-sharing arrangement.
NANO Nuclear believes LIST’s technology has the potential to produce commercial quantities of Low Enriched Uranium (LEU) and High-Assay LEU (HALEU) fuel within ten years. This collaboration is a strategic cornerstone for NANO Nuclear, ensuring a reliable and consistent fuel supply for its portable microreactors and positioning the company to address anticipated HALEU supply shortfalls in the advanced nuclear industry.
