This collaboration will serve as the technology foundation for a multiyear, multibillion-dollar operational transformation and economic revival for the region. Thames Freeport is one of the busiest maritime logistics hubs in the U.K.
Nokia was selected by Verizon as the hardware and software provider for this multisite private 5G deal. Private 5G networks provide dedicated connectivity, enabling advanced industrial applications such as artificial intelligence, crucial for the region's digital transformation.
