NV5 Global, Inc. announced on November 12, 2024, that it has been awarded $46 million in recent contracts to support electrical grid hardening and fire mitigation efforts in the Western United States. These awards involve providing engineering design, traditional and geospatial surveying, construction quality assurance, and downed pole monitoring (DPM) services.

A significant portion of these contracts includes $38 million awarded by a major Western utility for engineering design and construction quality assurance services. This project focuses on the hardening of electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure. The remaining $8 million in contracts are for geospatial surveying and DPM services for other Western utilities.
