NV5 Global, Inc. announced on November 6, 2024, that it has been awarded a $7 million contract to lead the engineering design and construction management for the Lake Havasu City Second Bridge and Roadway Project in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This three-year essential infrastructure project will establish a second connection from the mainland to Lake Havasu Island, which was previously accessible by only a single point of entry.
The new Second Bridge will alleviate pressure on the existing London Bridge, which was relocated to Lake Havasu City in 1968. The project aims to mitigate traffic congestion, support economic development, and accommodate population growth in Lake Havasu City. It will also provide improved access for emergency vehicles, residents, and visitors.
