NV5 Global, Inc. announced on December 18, 2024, that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Global Fire Protection Group (Global FPG). Global FPG is a provider of fire safety engineering, inspection, and consulting services, licensed in all 50 U.S. states and eight Canadian provinces, with projects completed in 39 countries.
The acquisition was made with a combination of cash and stock and is expected to be immediately accretive to NV5’s earnings. Fire protection engineering and consulting is described as a high-margin, recurring service that naturally cross-sells with NV5’s existing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology design services.
Global FPG specializes in fire protection services for attractive end markets such as data centers, healthcare, utilities, and industrial sectors. This acquisition brings in-house a leader in fire protection, enhancing NV5's ability to offer a full suite of services to its buildings and technology clients.
