Nextracker today inaugurated India’s first Center for Solar Excellence (CFSE) in Hyderabad, India. This state-of-the-art facility spans 13 acres and features a 30,000 square foot laboratory, along with comprehensive solar tracker installation and training facilities.
The CFSE aims to advance solar tracker technology by developing, testing, and commercializing proprietary solutions in collaboration with supply chain partners and customers. This initiative is designed to optimize products for local customer needs and accelerate the region's energy transition.
The center will also play a role in local workforce development through its PowerworX Academy, providing hands-on training for engineering, procurement, and construction companies. Nextracker currently has over 35 utility-scale projects delivered or under fulfillment in India, totaling over 5 GW, with 95% of its tracker components manufactured domestically.
