On October 15, 2025, Realty Income Corporation announced that Kim Hourihan has been appointed to its Board of Directors. The appointment, effective immediately, follows a recommendation from Russell Reynolds Associates, the firm’s global leadership advisory partner. Hourihan brings a wealth of experience to the board. She is currently Managing Director and Global Head of Strategy at Invesco Real Estate, where she oversees $90.1 billion in assets across the United States, Europe, and Asia. Prior to Invesco, she served in chief investment officer roles at CBRE Investment Management, managing $155.3 billion in assets and operations in 20 countries, and held positions at Starwood Capital Group and TA Associates Realty. Her addition is expected to strengthen Realty Income’s strategic focus on global expansion and private capital sourcing. CEO Sumit Roy noted that Hourihan’s private‑fund management background and deep knowledge of international real‑estate markets will complement the company’s existing portfolio diversification and support its U.S. Core Plus Fund initiative. Chairman Michael D. McKee added that her expertise will help the board navigate evolving market dynamics and enhance shareholder value.
