Olin Corporation announced on April 18, 2025, the completion of its previously announced acquisition of the small caliber ammunition assets of AMMO, Inc. The acquired assets, employees, and ammunition business are now integrated into Olin's Winchester Ammunition business.
The acquisition includes AMMO's brass shellcase capabilities and a newly constructed, 185,000 square foot production facility in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. This facility and its skilled employees are expected to complement Winchester's existing production capabilities, enabling greater specialization and broader participation across high-margin, specialty calibers.
Funded from available liquidity, the transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to Olin's shareholders, delivering $10 to $15 million in incremental first-year adjusted EBITDA, including synergies. Once fully integrated, this acquisition is projected to yield $40 million per year in adjusted EBITDA, with full realization of synergies, and Olin expects to have paid one and a half times adjusted EBITDA for these assets by year three.
