Olin Corporation announced on March 6, 2025, the appointment of General (U.S. Army retired) Edward (Ed) Daly as a new director to Olin's Board of Directors, effective March 5, 2025. General Daly will serve on the Compensation Committee of the Board.
General Daly retired from the U.S. Army in May 2023 after a distinguished 36-year career, culminating as the 20th Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command. In this role, he led 190,000 personnel and managed an annual budget exceeding $50 billion, developing extensive expertise in defense procurement and logistics.
Olin's President & CEO, Ken Lane, stated that General Daly's exemplary military career and understanding of global trade and security will provide an extraordinary new perspective to the Board. His leadership and insight are expected to help guide growth across all Olin businesses, particularly benefiting the Winchester ammunition segment.
