OPAL Fuels Inc. announced today the opening of its third fueling station in El Centro, California, in collaboration with GT Carriers Inc., a Southern California regional freight carrier. This new station is expected to begin operations in December.
The El Centro station is the third facility OPAL Fuels has completed for GT Carriers in Southern California. OPAL Fuels owns these stations and has established long-term fuel supply agreements with GT Carriers, expanding the annual fuel supply to 1.7 million GGEs across the three stations.
This collaboration aligns with OPAL Fuels' mission to provide cleaner and more cost-effective fuel solutions for heavy-duty fleets, reducing carbon emissions and diesel fuel costs. The new station further expands OPAL Fuels’ RNG dispensing network, which comprises over 300 stations across the U.S., and reinforces its strategic advantage in accessing the transportation fuel market.
