Orion Group Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ORN) announced a new $120 million senior credit facility with UMB Bank on December 29, 2025. The facility is structured as a $60 million revolving line of credit, a $20 million equipment term loan, a $40 million acquisition term loan, and a $25 million accordion that can be drawn on in the future.
The new arrangement replaces Orion’s prior $88 million facility that was due in May 2028 and extends the maturity to December 2030. Interest on the new facility is set at SOFR plus 2.5% to 3.0%, a reduction of roughly 225 basis points versus the previous agreement, lowering the company’s overall cost of capital.
Proceeds from the facility will be used to repay $23 million of outstanding debt and for general corporate purposes, giving Orion greater liquidity and borrowing capacity to pursue its strategic initiatives. The refinancing frees up capital that can be deployed toward larger contracts and future acquisitions.
The financing is intended to support Orion’s expanding marine and concrete construction pipeline, with a particular focus on data‑center and defense projects. By reducing debt and improving cash flow, the company can bid on larger contracts and accelerate growth in high‑margin segments.
CEO Travis Boone said, “The new credit facility increases Orion’s financial flexibility with expanded liquidity and greater borrowing capacity at a lower overall cost of capital. We look forward to our partnership with UMB as we position the company to execute on our strategic growth priorities.”
The lower cost of capital and strengthened balance sheet position Orion to invest in high‑growth opportunities, enhance its competitive position in the infrastructure and defense markets, and support a more aggressive growth trajectory over the next several years.
