The company is actively exploring Science Based Targets initiatives (SBTi) and is finalizing life cycle assessments (LCA) for two of its brands, demonstrating a dedication to sustainable practices. Additionally, Prestige initiated its first climate risk and opportunities assessment, aligning with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
Operational improvements were also noted, with the Lynchburg facility successfully reducing its total waste by approximately 10%. The report outlined the company's FY24 GHG emissions, including Scope 1 at 1,438.38 MT CO2e, Scope 2 at 7,141.31 MT CO2e, and Scope 3 at 141,347.58 MT CO2e, totaling 149,927.27 MT CO2e.
