Vinland Lithium Inc. announced on July 24, 2025, the completion of its summer exploration program on the Killick Lithium Project in Newfoundland. Piedmont Lithium is a joint venture partner in the project, which focused on following up on previously identified mineralized pegmatite rock units.
The program included prospecting, till sampling, geological mapping, and ground geophysical surveys, with 115 rock samples and 45 till samples submitted for analysis. Vinland also announced the appointment of Barry Sparkes, P.Geo, as the Company's VP Exploration, effective July 1, 2025.
During the 2024 summer field season, the joint venture involving Piedmont completed an airborne geophysical survey and field geochemical surveys. The ongoing exploration and new leadership aim to advance the Killick Lithium Project's potential.
