Preformed Line Products Company announced a major expansion of its European operations to meet increasing market demand and reinforce its long-term commitment to the region. The company has begun construction on a new multi-purpose facility in Wieprz, Żywiec County, Poland, which will replace its current operations in Bielsko-Biała.
The new Polish facility, slated for completion in 2026, will significantly increase manufacturing capabilities and integrate modern spaces for engineering, operations, and sales support, becoming a key European hub for several of PLP's core product lines. Simultaneously, PLP is expanding its presence in Southern Europe by relocating its operations in Spain to a much larger facility in Seville.
The new Seville facility will provide a 250% increase in operational space for manufacturing and warehousing, along with 240% more office space for team growth and collaboration. These investments align with PLP's strategic vision to support accelerating global infrastructure projects, including grid modernization, renewable energy, and high-speed broadband.
