The publication of the DROD initiated a 45-day pre-decisional objection period, which concluded on October 21, 2024. This period will be followed by a 45-day resolution period, with the final Record of Decision (ROD) anticipated by the end of 2024.
This milestone is crucial for the project's progression, as it signifies a major step in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process and moves Perpetua closer to securing full authorization for its mine plan.
