Profound Medical Corp. announced on September 23, 2025, the launch of a new TULSA program by Texas Prostate and Dallas Medical Center. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for advanced prostate treatment without surgery, significantly expanding Medicare patient access to the TULSA Procedure™. Under this program, Texas Prostate will perform TULSA procedures for men with prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) within Dallas Medical Center’s MRI suite. This partnership leverages the Medicare coverage granted in January 2025 for the TULSA Procedure across Hospital Outpatient, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and Private Office/Non-Facility settings. The initiative provides a model for private pay urology practices and Medicare-accepting hospitals nationwide seeking to expand access to the TULSA procedure. Dallas Medical Center gains advanced technology, while Texas Prostate contributes its expertise in performing TULSA Procedures, offering patients an incision-free treatment option with no procedural blood loss and lower complication risks.
