Parsons Corporation announced on October 17, 2024, that it was awarded a seat on a $225 million multiple award task order contract (MATOC) by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District. This contract is for environmental remediation activities and represents new work for the company. The agreement includes a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
Under this contract, Parsons will compete for task orders to advance work assigned to USACE Northwestern Division and USEPA Region 2. This work involves hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste remediation and investigation, as well as environmental studies such as wetlands delineation, habitat mitigation, and pollution prevention. The contract includes projects funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, supporting Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) cleanup initiatives.
Parsons has a long history of supporting USACE's mission to deliver vital engineering solutions. This award builds on previous successes, such as winning a seat on a $464 million U.S. Army Environmental Command MATOC for remediation services involving hazardous toxic waste, including PFAS. The company remains committed to leveraging its experience and innovative technologies for environmental solutions.
