Pyxis Oncology, Inc. announced executive leadership changes, effective July 1, 2025. Pamela Connealy, the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, retired from the company. Her retirement was not due to any disagreement with the company's independent auditors or management regarding accounting principles, financial statement disclosure, or internal controls.
Concurrently, Jitendra Wadhane, who previously served as the Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Accounting Officer, was appointed as the company’s Principal Financial Officer (PFO). Mr. Wadhane will continue in his role as Principal Accounting Officer.
The company stated that Mr. Wadhane will not receive any additional compensation in connection with his new role as PFO. This transition marks a change in the financial leadership structure of Pyxis Oncology.
