QIAGEN announced on April 14, 2025, that plans are advancing to launch three new sample preparation instruments during 2025 and 2026. These systems are designed to expand and strengthen its portfolio for automated sample preparation, delivering new levels of efficiency and sustainability for laboratories worldwide.

The planned launches include QIAmini for low-throughput labs by H1 2026, QIAsprint Connect for high-throughput applications capable of processing up to 600 samples per day by late 2025, and QIAsymphony Connect, a next-generation flagship system, also by late 2025. These instruments will address diverse customer segments and complex challenges, including liquid biopsy and high-throughput screening.

These upcoming launches build on recent enhancements across QIAGEN’s automation portfolio, such as the upgraded QIAcube Connect and EZ2 Connect systems. This strategy aims to provide modular, scalable solutions in sample preparation that match evolving lab needs, from small research settings to high-volume testing laboratories.
