QuickLogic Corporation announced its eFPGA IP is now integrated into Faraday Technology Corporation's FlashKit™-22RRAM SoC Development Platform. This collaboration provides designers with flexibility and adaptability for Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Faraday's FlashKit-22RRAM platform, implemented on UMC's 22ULP process technology, supports Arm Cortex-M7 and VeeR EH1 RISC-V processors. The inclusion of QuickLogic's eFPGA IP enables post-tape-out hardware functionality adaptation, reducing time-to-market and extending product lifecycles.
Mao Wang, Sr. Director of Product Management at QuickLogic, stated that the partnership highlights the growing need for customizable compute at the edge. This integration allows Faraday customers to optimize power, performance, and area (PPA) for unique workloads in edge AI and real-time sensor fusion applications.
