LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe addressed the company's strategy in light of Google's evolving plans regarding third-party cookies on Chrome during the Wells Fargo 8th Annual TMT Summit. Howe emphasized that LiveRamp's core strategy is to build a fundamental network infrastructure for data collaboration, rather than being solely dictated by cookie policies.
Howe noted that cookies are an outdated technology and that over 50% of the internet is already non-cookiable. LiveRamp will continue to support cookies as long as they exist, while simultaneously investing in and expanding its authenticated ecosystem across cookieless browsers, direct publisher integrations, CTV, and AI providers.
The CEO also announced that LiveRamp will host an Investor Day at the start of its RampUp 2025 conference in February. This event will provide a deeper dive into network economics and offer a longer-term outlook on the company's forward-looking visibility and strategic direction.
