RadNet announced the acquisition of Radiology Regional, a division of LucidHealth, adding 13 imaging centers in Southwest Florida—including Naples, Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota. The deal brings roughly 400 employees and 44 contracted radiologists into RadNet’s portfolio.
The transaction is valued at approximately $100 million in projected 2026 revenue, though the purchase price was not disclosed. The acquisition expands RadNet’s U.S. imaging center network to roughly 420 locations, a figure that some sources list as 407, reflecting the integration timeline.
RadNet plans to deploy its DeepHealth AI platform across the new centers, aiming to improve diagnostic accuracy and streamline workflow. The move aligns with the company’s strategy to shift from a capital‑intensive operator to a technology‑enabled diagnostic hub, leveraging AI to drive operational leverage and margin expansion.
The acquisition comes at a time when RadNet’s Q3 2025 service revenue reached $522.9 million, up 13.5% from $461.1 million a year earlier, and its diluted EPS rose to $0.07 from $0.04. The added centers are expected to contribute to the company’s revenue growth trajectory and support its ongoing focus on high‑margin AI services.
Management emphasized the strategic fit and future opportunities. Dr. Darius Biskup said the partnership would accelerate access to AI technologies and operational resources, while RadNet’s President and CEO Steve Forthuber highlighted the aging Southwest Florida population and the company’s commitment to affordable, high‑quality imaging. LucidHealth CEO Steve Corbeil noted the sale would sharpen LucidHealth’s strategic focus.
The deal positions RadNet to capture growing demand in a densely populated, aging market and to deepen its AI integration across a broader footprint, reinforcing its competitive advantage in the outpatient diagnostic imaging sector.
