Robert Half Inc. reported second-quarter 2025 net income of $41 million, or $0.41 per share, on revenues of $1.370 billion. This represents a decrease from Q2 2024, which saw net income of $68 million, or $0.66 per share, on revenues of $1.473 billion. Global enterprise revenues were down 7% year-over-year on both a reported and adjusted basis.

The company cited persistent elevated global economic uncertainty, which continued to extend client and job seeker caution, elongate decision cycles, and subdue hiring activity and new project starts. Revenue levels modestly declined during the first two months of the quarter but stabilized at lower levels in June, a trend that continued into July.

For the third quarter of 2025, Robert Half provided guidance projecting revenues between $1.31 billion and $1.41 billion, with a midpoint of $1.36 billion, representing an 8% adjusted year-over-year decline. Diluted earnings per share are expected to be between $0.37 and $0.47, with the midpoint falling approximately 26% below Wall Street expectations of $0.58. Protiviti, however, continued its resilience with Q2 revenues increasing by 1.8% year-over-year.
