Seabridge Gold announced on January 21, 2025, the remaining results from its 2024 drill program at the Snip North target within the Iskut project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The drilling defined copper and gold mineralization over extensive widths, with continuous mineralization now recognized across approximately 2,000 meters of strike length and a dip projection of at least 600 meters.

The company identified two distinct styles of mineralization: a high-temperature potassic copper-gold domain interpreted as proximal to an intrusive source, and an gold-silver domain indicative of a lower temperature intermediate sulphidation epithermal system. This extensive hydrothermal system remains open down dip to the West and Northwest.

Seabridge plans to make the Snip North discovery its key exploration focus in 2025, with the goal of delineating a mineral resource as quickly as practical. The company anticipates that building resources at Snip North will provide critical knowledge transferable to other areas of the Iskut Property, where additional copper-gold porphyry systems may exist.
