Sono Group N.V. announced its financial results for the second quarter and first half ended June 30, 2025. For the first half of 2025, the company reported a net income of €8.0 million, primarily driven by a €11.1 million gain from changes in the fair value of convertible notes payable. In the second quarter of 2025, Sono Group recorded a net loss of €0.8 million, which is an improvement from the €1.4 million net loss in Q2 2024, mainly due to reduced general and administrative expenses and a foreign currency translation gain. Revenue for H1 2025 totaled €51 thousand, with €25 thousand in Q2 2025, generated from integrated solar solutions and components. The company highlighted continued OEM momentum, with MAN Truck & Bus equipping series vehicles with Sono’s solar technology as a factory-installed option, and Ford testing high-voltage VIPV on the E-Transit. Management anticipates significant revenue growth in the second half of 2025, with Q4 revenue projected to double Q3, and an average revenue per unit of €8,000 to €10,000 from Q3 into Q4.
