Mr. Brennan joins Selective with nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry and public company executive roles. His most recent position was Treasurer of The Progressive Corporation, where he was responsible for treasury, capital strategy, risk management, and investor relations functions.
John J. Marchioni, Selective’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, stated that Mr. Brennan's background in corporate finance and the insurance sector makes him ideally suited for the CFO role. Tony Harnett will continue in his role as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer.
