This agreement enables customers to design and build high-reliability mixed-signal SoCs entirely within a secure U.S. supply chain. This is a strategic milestone for U.S. semiconductor independence, extending SkyWater’s leadership in domestic innovation.
The licensed IP, originally developed by Cypress Semiconductor, is validated in high-volume, automotive-grade applications. It includes key components such as analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), power management, timing, and communications modules.
