The Franklin Project's inferred resource is estimated at 1,030,000 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) at an average lithium concentration of 652 mg/L. This represents the highest reported lithium-in-brine grades in North America.
This resource is based on 18,732 gross brine mineral hectares leased by Smackover Lithium and marks a key step towards the joint venture's goal of reaching over 100,000 tonnes of lithium chemicals per year in Texas through multiple phases. The report is expected to bring greater recognition to this underappreciated asset portfolio.
