The transaction is expected to lower SelectQuote's annual cash debt service and increase operating flexibility to fund growth initiatives. This follows a $100 million receivables securitization, marking a significant step in optimizing the company's capital structure.
As part of the agreement, Chris Wolfe of Bain Capital and Srdjan Vukovic of Newlight Partners are expected to join SelectQuote's Board of Directors upon the closing of the transaction. Both bring over 20 years of investing and healthcare sector experience to the company.
