Sleep Number Corporation announced that Bob Ryder has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective July 21, 2025. Ryder succeeds Francis Lee, who stepped down as CFO and will remain as an advisor through August 15, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition.
The company clarified that this CFO leadership change is not a result of any matters relating to Sleep Number’s financials, operations, policies, or practices. A search for a permanent CFO is currently underway.
Linda Findley, President and CEO, stated that Ryder's extensive experience in public company CFO roles will be invaluable as Sleep Number continues debt discussions and focuses on topline initiatives and cost reduction. The company is on track to exceed its previously announced cost reduction goals, positioning it to remain compliant with debt covenants despite ongoing topline challenges.
