Sun Country Airlines, in partnership with Synchrony, announced the launch of a new credit card program on September 23, 2025. This program is designed to reward leisure travelers for both flights and everyday purchases, aiming to enhance customer loyalty.
New cardmembers can earn 25,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days. The Sun Country Visa Signature credit card offers up to 5X rewards points on Sun Country purchases, 2X points on gas and grocery, and 1X on all other purchases.
Additional benefits include 50% off the first checked bag and seat selections, a 10,000-point anniversary bonus for spending $10,000, and in-flight discounts. Sun Country also introduced "Plus status" to its rewards program, offering further benefits like no change or cancellation fees and priority services, with the new program expected to significantly improve revenue share from 2026 onwards.
