Senstar Technologies Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Blickfeld GmbH, a Munich‑based developer of 3D LiDAR sensors and integrated software, for €10.4 million in cash and an additional €1 million in performance‑based earn‑outs. The transaction is fully funded from Senstar’s $21.7 million cash balance as of September 30 2025 and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
The acquisition expands Senstar’s perimeter‑security portfolio by adding high‑precision LiDAR technology that complements its AI‑powered MultiSensor Cascade Plus platform. Blickfeld’s QbProtect LiDAR sensor is designed for volume and traffic monitoring and for securing critical points in non‑critical infrastructure such as transport facilities and museums, broadening Senstar’s addressable market beyond its core corrections, energy, utilities and transport verticals.
Senstar’s Q3 2025 results showed revenue of $9.5 million, a slight decline from $9.7 million in Q3 2024, but year‑to‑date revenue increased 8 %. Gross margin stood at 67.3 %, down modestly from 68.0 % a year earlier, while net income was $1.0 million versus $1.3 million in the prior year. The company’s cash balance of $21.7 million and absence of debt provide a solid balance sheet to support the acquisition.
Blickfeld is targeting EBITDA breakeven on more than €6 million in revenue in 2026 and has a patented Laser Detector Module and proprietary silicon MEMS mirror technology that delivers long‑range, wide‑field‑of‑view LiDAR.
