Sonim Technologies announced the launch and availability of its XP3plus 5G ultra-rugged flip phone on March 19, 2025. The device is available at T-Mobile and is certified for use with T-Priority, T-Mobile's 5G network slice for first responders.
This 5G model features a Qualcomm SM4450 5G chipset, a larger display, and a 3000mAh removable battery offering up to 30 hours of talk time. It comes with 4GB DDR4 RAM, 32GB eMMC storage, and expandable memory up to 512GB.
The XP3plus 5G meets Sonim's Rugged Performance Standards, IP68, and MIL-STD-810H, and is certified safe for explosive environments. This launch strengthens Sonim's offerings for mission-critical professionals in government, public safety, and industrial sectors.
