Stoneridge, Inc. announced on October 22, 2024, that DB Schenker, a global leader in supply chain management and logistics, is piloting its MirrorEye Camera Monitor System (CMS) on 75 trucks within its North American fleet.
The MirrorEye system replaces traditional mirrors with integrated cameras and monitors, designed to enhance driver safety by reducing blind spots and improving visibility in challenging conditions. It also offers digital video recording capabilities and contributes to fuel efficiency by eliminating traditional mirrors, supporting CO₂-savings.
Assuming a successful pilot program, DB Schenker intends to expand the implementation of MirrorEye across its entire North American fleet. This collaboration highlights MirrorEye's value proposition in improving driver safety and operational efficiency for large-scale logistics operations.
