Stratasys Ltd. announced on July 14, 2025, the commercial launch of P3™ Silicone 25A, a high-performance material developed through a strategic collaboration with Shin-Etsu. This material is designed exclusively for the Stratasys Origin® DLP platform.

P3 Silicone 25A enables the production of flexible parts that match the performance of traditionally molded silicone, addressing a longstanding gap in industrial 3D printing. It delivers the chemical resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical behavior of conventional silicones, while eliminating tooling and reducing lead times.

The material has been validated in thermal aging tests and passed biocompatibility and flame retardancy certification, making it suitable for demanding applications such as seals, gaskets, vibration dampers, and wearables. This launch marks the first in a planned portfolio of silicone materials, opening significant new market opportunities for Stratasys.
