Stratasys Ltd. announced on August 7, 2025, that Toyota’s production engineering group is accelerating innovation on the factory floor through its strategic collaboration with Stratasys. This partnership, spanning over 10 years, empowers automotive workers to integrate advanced 3D printing technology into their manufacturing processes.

Toyota engineers now have access to a wide range of Stratasys industrial-grade 3D printers, including the F3300, F900, Origin One, F770, Neo800, H350, F370, J850, and Fortus 450mc, across its North American facilities. These systems are used to produce robust factory tooling, end-use parts, and functional prototypes.

The adoption of Stratasys solutions allows Toyota to transform ideas into durable, customized tools, enhancing worker safety and withstanding wear and tear. This has enabled rapid iteration, such as redesigning a door assembly fixture and developing a custom window alignment jig that turned a multi-person job into a one-person task, boosting safety and efficiency.
