Stereotaxis announced on September 2, 2025, the successful completion of the world’s first procedures using MAGiC Sweep™, the first and only robotically-navigated high-density electrophysiology (EP) mapping catheter. These procedures were performed by Dr. Raffaele Corbisiero and Dr. Pedram Kazemian at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
Dr. Corbisiero, Chief of Electrophysiology, expressed excitement about demonstrating the value of robotic high-density mapping and offering this innovation to patients. He noted the importance of creating accurate, detailed maps for diagnosing and treating arrhythmias, and was impressed with the catheter's performance in mapping various arrhythmias.
Dr. Kazemian, Program Director of EP Fellowship, highlighted the ease of navigating MAGiC Sweep, its stable contact with cardiac tissue, clear electrogram signals, and lack of ectopy in the ventricle. Stereotaxis has initiated the commercial launch of MAGiC Sweep in the United States following its recent FDA clearance, marking a significant leap forward for robotic electrophysiologists.
