Stereotaxis announced on January 14, 2025, that physicians at Oulu University Hospital in Finland successfully treated their first patients using the advanced Genesis Robotic Magnetic Navigation (RMN) System. Oulu University Hospital has extensive experience with robotic technologies for heart arrhythmia treatment, having treated over 2,000 patients with previous versions of the technology.

The implementation of the latest Genesis System introduces significant advancements in Robotic Magnetic Navigation technology to northern Finland. This technology enhances robotic precision and safety in cardiac ablation, a common minimally invasive procedure for treating arrhythmias. Untreated arrhythmias can significantly increase the risk of stroke, heart failure, and sudden cardiac arrest.

This continued partnership with Oulu University highlights the hospital's commitment to providing high-quality patient care with the precision and stability offered by the more advanced Genesis System. It reinforces Stereotaxis' presence in the European market and its role in advancing cardiac care.
