SolarBank Sells 3.26 MW Camillus Solar Project for $7.3 Million USD to Solar Advocate Development LLC

SolarBank Corporation announced on March 19, 2025, that its 3.26 MW Camillus Solar Project has been sold to Solar Advocate Development LLC in a transaction valued at $7.3 million USD. SolarBank will also construct the project under an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) agreement dated March 18, 2025.

This transaction marks the eighth community solar project SolarBank will construct and operate for Solar Advocate, a relationship that began in 2018. The project is a 3.26 MW DC ground-mount solar power facility located on a closed landfill site, designed to operate as a community solar project.

SolarBank has completed an interconnection agreement with the utility company, obtained local permits, and initiated engineering, initial construction, and procurement of major equipment. The project is expected to be eligible for incentives under the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) NY-Sun Program.
