Silvercorp Metals Inc. reported its operational results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2025. The Ying Mining District processed 265,002 tonnes of ore, a 26% increase over Q2 Fiscal 2025, with gold production up 76% and lead production up 8%.
The company confirmed that production at the Ying Mining District, which was previously affected by the temporary closure of certain mining areas due to the HZG mine incident, has since reopened and returned to normal levels. This indicates a resolution to the operational setback reported in the prior quarter.
Significant progress was made at the El Domo mine construction, with approximately 1.29 million cubic meters of material removed, marking a 249% increase over the last quarter. The 481-bed construction camp is substantially completed and scheduled to be fully operational in October 2025, with surface clearing for the tailings storage facility beginning in September 2025 and equipment orders totaling approximately $22.2 million placed.
