TransAct Technologies Incorporated reported preliminary second quarter 2025 financial results, with total net sales of $13,798 thousand, representing a 19% increase from $11,599 thousand in Q2 2024. The Food Service Technology (FST) segment revenue grew by 14% year-over-year to $4,761 thousand, while Casino and Gaming revenue surged by 42% year-over-year to $7,629 thousand.

The company sold over 1,900 terminals in Q2 2025, bringing the six-month total to 4,292 units. TransAct achieved positive adjusted EBITDA in Q2 2025 and through the first half of the year, and its net loss narrowed to $(143) thousand, or $(0.01) per share, compared to $(319) thousand, or $(0.03) per share, in Q2 2024.

TransAct raised its full-year 2025 net sales guidance to a range of $49 million to $53 million, up from $47 million to $52 million. The full-year Adjusted EBITDA guidance was also improved to a range of breakeven to $1.5 million, from the prior range of breakeven to negative $1.5 million. Additionally, TransAct acquired a perpetual and royalty-free license to a copy of the source code for the BOHA! software from Avery Dennison, enabling the company to modify, enhance, extend, and service the entire BOHA! platform, with a fully supported version expected in early 2027.
