Teradata announced the appointment of John Ederer as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 12, 2025. Ederer will be responsible for leading Teradata’s financial organization, including accounting and reporting, corporate development, financial planning and analysis, internal audit and controls, investor relations, tax, and treasury.
Prior to joining Teradata, Ederer served as CFO of Model N, a provider of cloud revenue management solutions, where he focused on driving profitable growth strategies. He also held the CFO position at K2 Software, Inc., leading a transition to subscription revenue and a successful sale.
This appointment is significant as Teradata advances its strategy with its hybrid cloud platform for Trusted AI. Ederer's extensive experience with software business models and his track record in investor-focused reporting are expected to accelerate Teradata’s profitable growth and capitalize on AI opportunities.
