Telecare operates Australia's leading virtual care clinic, boasting over 300 virtual specialists across more than 30 specialties.
This acquisition supports Teladoc Health's enterprise strategy to expand its international business, building on its 15-year history in Australia where it already provides virtual health services through insurers and hospitals. Telecare helps reduce patient wait times and increases access to specialty care in underserved areas.
The acquisition closed on August 8, 2025. While financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the deal is expected to be immaterial to Teladoc Health's financial results for the current year. Telecare will continue to operate under its existing brand and leadership team.
