The acquisition was an all-cash transaction for $30 million, with up to $15 million in additional contingent earnout consideration.
This strategic acquisition supports Teladoc Health’s objective to enhance its leadership in virtual mental health, particularly by expanding opportunities for consumers to use their insurance benefits for mental health services through the BetterHelp segment. UpLift brings arrangements covering over 100 million lives and a network of over 1,500 mental health professionals.
