TriSalus Life Sciences announced a strategic partnership with Geo-Med, LLC, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This collaboration aims to expand the availability of the TriNav Infusion System to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers nationwide.
The partnership is particularly significant as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), the most common form of liver cancer, occurs up to five times more frequently in U.S. veterans than in the general population. Geo-Med's expertise as a key supplier to the VA and U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) medical facilities will be instrumental in reaching veterans in need.
This initiative is closely aligned with TriSalus's mission to enhance patient outcomes and leverages the proprietary Pressure-Enabled Drug Delivery (PEDD) approach, which has been shown to improve therapeutic delivery to tumors while decreasing non-target delivery.
