Toyota’s worldwide production for September 2025 rose 11 % year‑on‑year to 918,146 vehicles, marking the fourth straight month of growth.
The increase was driven largely by a 29 % jump in U.S. production and a 14 % rise in U.S. sales, reflecting strong demand for hybrids. Global sales climbed 3 % to 879,314 vehicles, the ninth consecutive month of growth.
Production gains were also seen in other key markets, with Japan up 9 % and China up 16 % in September, offsetting modest declines in those regions. Toyota sold 7.8 million vehicles worldwide in the first nine months of 2025, a 5 % year‑over‑year increase.
The results underscore Toyota’s operational resilience and its ability to meet market demand, positioning the company for continued growth in the current fiscal year.
