On October 24, 2025, Toyota Motor Corporation announced new features for its 2026 Toyota bZ battery electric vehicle, including access to over 25,000 Tesla Supercharger plugs across North America, Plug & Charge capability, and integration with Apple Maps EV Routing.
The expanded charging network allows bZ drivers to use the Tesla Supercharger network, as well as other DC fast chargers, while Plug & Charge enables vehicles to initiate charging simply by plugging in after a one‑time enrollment. Apple Maps EV Routing provides real‑time navigation to compatible chargers, taking into account battery performance and elevation changes.
These enhancements improve convenience and reduce range anxiety for bZ owners, positioning Toyota to compete more effectively in the growing BEV market and supporting the company’s electrification strategy.
