Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. introduced the Invitrogen™ EVOS™ S1000 Spatial Imaging System, an advanced solution designed to lower the barrier to entry into spatial tissue proteomics. This system addresses limitations of current fluorescent microscopy technologies by enabling researchers to generate multiplexed high-quality images for multiple samples within several hours. The EVOS S1000 leverages advanced and patented spectral technology, allowing researchers to capture images of up to nine different targets simultaneously. This capability significantly reduces the need for multiple rounds of imaging and helps preserve tissue integrity, accelerating experiments and driving advancements in critical research areas like solid tumors and neurodegenerative diseases. The system is compatible with a wide range of reagents and antibodies, ensuring seamless integration into existing laboratory setups. Now commercially available in the United States and Europe, the EVOS S1000 provides researchers with tools to advance the understanding of complex biological systems and develop new treatments for various diseases.
