Mr. Kaae has a tenure of over 40 years with Black Construction, most recently serving as Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Under Mr. Kaae’s leadership, Black Construction has grown to become the largest general contractor in Guam and the second-largest employer on the island. The subsidiary has consistently been one of Tutor Perini’s most successful and profitable business units.
Black Construction maintains a record backlog and a large pipeline of bidding opportunities, particularly in the Indo-Pacific region due to U.S. government funding for strategic infrastructure. This promotion ensures continued strong leadership for a vital part of Tutor Perini's operations.
