The project's primary objective is to revitalize aging wastewater infrastructure serving the Wahweap and Lone Rock developed areas. This includes replacing outdated components with modern materials and equipment to ensure long-term reliability and environmental compliance.
The scope of work encompasses cured-in-place pipe lining, upgrades to septic systems, manholes, and lift stations, replacement of the Glen Canyon Bridge force main, and installation of backup generators. Work is commencing immediately, with substantial completion anticipated in the fall of 2027.
